About us

Print Best is a printing house based in the heart of Estonia, in Viljandi. With a clear vision and steady focus, we’ve grown into a trusted partner for publishers – building a strong, values-based work culture, prioritising sustainability and consistently delivering high-quality results.

Where we come from. The roots of Print Best stretch back 150 years, to June 11, 1875, when Eesti Postimees announced the opening of the first book printing house in the town of Viljandi. Print Best itself started out in the late 1990s in a small garage at the Viljandi Autobase. What began as our founder’s childhood dream has, over 28 years, grown into one of the leading companies in the field. We’re proud to continue building on that legacy while staying flexible and ready for whatever the future brings.

Where we are today. From the very beginning, big ambitions have fueled Print Best and they still do. In the autumn of 1997, Priit and his childhood friend Tarmo set out to build a printing house. Six months later, Tanel joined the team and now leads Print Best as CEO, playing a key role in its development. In 2019, Tanel and Sales Manager Kaarel (who came on board in 2014) bought out Tarmo’s shares, marking the start of a new chapter for Print Best.

Today, we work with some of the world’s largest publishing houses – partners who value fairness, reliability and long-term collaboration. We don’t see our work as just production – it’s a creative process where every order is crafted with care and precision.

We’ve built our business around a balance of economic, environmental and social responsibility. Sustainability is part of how we operate every day, backed by internationally recognised audits and certifications.

Where we are headed. We’re always looking for ways to grow and take our work to the next level. That’s why we keep investing in new technology and, most importantly, in our people – to stay ahead in the printing world. Our team is close-knit, ambitious and focused on the future. We value our people, care about our partners and are always looking for smarter, more efficient ways to do things.

Our goal is to grow together with our partners by offering high-quality, sustainable printing services. Every step we take brings us closer to the vision we’ve been working toward for the past 28 years.

The implementation of the project is necessary to increase the company’s supply security. The goal of the project is to reduce the company’s dependence on fossil fuels and to support the transition to renewable energy sources. To achieve the project’s goal, a solar power plant extension will be built, which will partially cover the company’s electricity consumption needs.
